Tang Yau Hoong es un ilustrador y diseñador gráfico residente en Kuala Lumpur (Malasia). Apasionado del pensamiento creativo, el artista emplea el espacio negativo para crear piezas únicas. Sus obras son conceptuales y divertidas de un modo simplista. Aunque al principio sus ilustraciones parecen sencillas, en realidad son intrincadas obras de arte que captan la atención y hacen reflexionar por un momento.

Tang Yau Hoong comentó a Panda Curioso que le encantan los temas conceptuales y surrealistas, porque le permiten dar rienda suelta a su imaginación. "Paisajes urbanos, naturaleza, animales y valores sociales son algunos de los temas que me interesan. Me encanta mantener mis conceptos abiertos para que siempre haya espacio para que los espectadores tengan sus propias interpretaciones".
